Før det elektriske lys dominerede vores verden levede vi med en naturlig Livsrytme, der fulgte solens og månens cyklus. Videoværket Getting in Sync with Nature viser en menneskeskabt og manipuleret solnedgang og solopgang. Solens op- og nedstigning er fastlåst i en unaturlig lodret pendulering.
Den aflange skærm der har samme højde som solens diameter, viser et groft pixeleret billede. 

Manipuleringen af både billede og tid understreger at værket er en fiktion og ikke en dokumentation af en virkelig morgen og aften. Solen vil aldrig gå ned og op samme sted. Der er bragt uorden i naturen.
Samtidig kan værket ses som en kommentar til og en nyfortolkning af – et yndet og stærkt klichefyldt motiv gennem kunsthistorien.

Before electric light became dominant, we lived our live according to a natural rhythm that followed the cycles of the sun and the moon. The video work Getting in Sync with Nature presents a man-made, manipulated sunset and sunrise. The rising and setting of the sun have been locked into an unnatural vertical oscillation movement.
The oblong screen, which shares the same height as the diameter of the image of the sun, shows a coarsely pixelated picture.
The manipulation of image and time accentuates how this work is fictional rather than a piece documenting a real morning and evening.The sun would never set and rise in the same place. Nature has been brought into disarray and disorder.At the same time, the work can be seen as a comment on – or reinterpretation of – a much -favoured and highly cliched motif from art history.
