Snemænd og Damer

I videoen Snemænd og Damer vises en snemandskernefamilies tragiske nedsmeltning. Snemændene følges fra de står hele og intakte, til de langsomt taber gulerodsnæser, og øjnene triller ud af hovederne. Til sidst er de væk, og kun halstørklæder og tomme huer ligger tilbage. Med filmiske greb opbygges en suspence, der inviterer til indlevelse i snemandsfamiliens (for)fald, og med dystre pseudo psykologiske betragtninger får et globalt klima perspektiv.

Snowmen and Women shows the meltdown of a snoweman family.
The snowmen are filmed from the point where they stand freshly prepared and intact until they are melted and disappeared. During the video they lose the noses, the eyes are rolling off, heads are falling down, and slowly they melt down to nothing, just hats, mittens and scarves are back. Through cinematic forms like close ups and camera pans the video  build up a suspence that introduces  you to identify yourself with snowmen tragedy. In a trite way the plot of the snowman family gives the spectator the opportunity to reflect on the reality, we are a part of and invite the spectators to link pseudo-psychological considerations together with global clima perspectives.
